The maternity leaves are for female employees. Under maternity leave, female workers are eligible to take 60 days of leave. The initial forty-five days of leave are fully paid. However, the next fifteen days are half-paid that is the employee receives half of their basic salary.
In addition to this, in the case of childbirth complications forty-five days of unpaid leave are offered. An employer may also provide a paid leave for 30 days.
